The concept for Stein was born from the vision of Carl and Gavin Evans, a father-son duo, who aimed to bring a European-style beer hall to their hometown of Leavenworth. To gather inspiration, they embarked on a trip across the continent, immersing themselves in the culture of beer halls and capturing the essence of the best establishments. In 2016, they began the meticulous restoration of one of Leavenworth's original Bavarian buildings to its early-1900s charm, preserving the authentic hardwood floors and uncovering the hand-laid brick walls. This dedication culminated in the creation of Stein, an integral part of the Leavenworth experience, offering a must-visit destination for lunch, dinner, and a refreshing pint (or Stein) of beer.
